Ok so the flairing is (Wind piece) : 8007047
The q towers (Piece that holds the bars): 8000124
Crossbars (48"): 8000408
Clips for the q towers rear: 8000606
Clips for the q towers rear: 8000606
That's all of them then if you want snowboard racks and other crap to add on they have that stuff too. This is just for the base rack. I see they have a phone number and it's
(888) 927-4621 and I imagine they will take your car info at the time so you don't have to worry about giving them the part numbers but who knows? I hope this helps.

Sweet, that is QUITE helpful.
I wish they weren't so expensive though. I would like to have the thule part numbers too, but they seem harder to come by for these cars. Thule seems to be cheaper.
Maybe now that I have info for what parts I need I can find used stuff easier...

Yeah no kidding. It isn't cheap. Once the 4kq is on the road I may be willing to just dump the cash on a new set. I think it would be worth it. I think the main thing for you is if you found the "Q towers" and cross bars you could just order the clips new and wind piece new. I believe the Q towers are a universal gig, and 48" cross bars can't be hard to find. I know my dad just did a used set on his FJ40, and it looks great, and he pieced his together too.

Yakima part # is 8007047, I don't know whether that will mount to just any rack, what kind of rack do you have?

What do you mean? I dont have a rack at all. I just have bare roof. Basically I'm looking to get exactly what is outlined above...the q-towers, bars, clips, etc.

Oh, sorry, I misunderstood, Yakima wants about $350 for a rack, and the fairing is $80 on top of that!!!
I managed to pull a Thule Rack off of a Cash for Clunkers car, but I need to get the fairing for it, Thule's isn't as nice looking as the Yakima piece.

I might be able to make it to FixxFest this weekend, We'll have meet up if I can get away. I've got a charity event for most of the morning, but I should be done by 3pm.

That would be sweeeeeeeet. Just look for my car, though I probably wont be with it.
PM me and Ill send you my number if you'd like.
Anyway, if you want to get rid of the Thule you know who to sell it to! You wouldn't even have to ship it. I'll pick it up at fixxfest

Be careful what you go out and buy.....the Yakima towers for the 4000 are the raingutter clamp type and for the type44 you need the base with the clamp that fits in the marked area in the door closure.
I have a set of Yakima towers for the 4000's that I don't see myself using again.....offers???

Look on craigslist for rack parts. A LOT and when i say a lot i mean A LOT of cars use the same clamps and towers as a 200 for roof racks. So check out craigslist and when someone says they have a rack setup for a 93 honda civic check thule or yakimas website and cross reference.
Thats how ive gotten a couple roof racks.

I need some christmas present ideas for my sister to get me. It can be anything car/audi related...I'd prefer parts for my car, but that is problematic because everything is too damned expensive lol.
The only thing I can think of so far is some AN fittings for my oil setup for the holset.
I can probably do the entire return for like 50 bux, so that is a viable gift option. Sad I know...
I was wondering though, does anyone know of any quick disconnect fittings I could use with -10 line and such? I really hate dealing with AN's in tight spaces.
BTW I have a new plan for the Holset. Just use stock mani with slotted holes in the Holset hotside, some injectors, oil lines, and go tune the beast.
If I go with some cheap injectors that are just enough to get the power I want from the Holset I could potentially have all that stuff for like $3-400.
I also have to do the intercooler on top of all of that, but thats a given. So cost would be like $1100 with the most badass IC setup I can dream up.
I know the slotted housing is sorta ghetto, but its not that bad. It is just for fun at this point anyway. I think 350awhp would be a good goal for that setup.
I will list all oil line parts to fit a holset here when I get it all sorted out.

can you handle low impedence injectors with the VEMS easily? I assume so...
if so, and 42# @ 3 bar is enough for now... check this out:
http://www.motorgeek.com/phpBB2/viewtop ... tors+cheap
just pull them out of throttle body ford V8s could prob get them at a junk yard for a couple bucks each, if you want... get like 6 or more of them, have them all flowed and use the most similar 5. you will need small metal washers:
http://cididit.com/inj_rings.htmor make your own, and use normal bosch o-rings.
these guys use them with no problems:
http://passionford.com/forum/general-di ... ctors.html
if you do it right you could end up with injectors that support over 400+ hp (probably closer to 500 or more using 5 of them and more than 3-bar fuel pressure) for 30-50% less than new.

dang man, you have showed me so cheap shit and I LOVE IT!
I think I might have to be on the lookout in the next few weeks. Now I just need to find a way to plumb the Holset to the stock IC

I'll probably just buy a v-band and weld that to an aluminum pipe that can then just transfer into the stock lower charge pipe. That should be fine for temporary.
So I could potentially have a 300-350whp setup for say sub $100 for injectors, and $150 in oil line parts. Muahahaha

well, I currently dont have much expendable income, only a part of that goes towards my car too, so I tend to spend the time looking for the best deal or cheaper alternates on some things.
being in florida im sure you can find a whole bunch of early to mid 80s full size Ford's, Lincoln's and Mercury's that have the TBI or CFI, they are prob 2 of the top 5 favorte cars of retirees of the era. lol.
as for "injectors for $100 or less" itll probably be a little more, it costs $16-$20 to ahve them cleaned and flowed, so thats $80-$100 right there... plus the cost of the injectors themselves.

ok so $150...which isnt that amazing, but its pretty awesome anyway. (Supposedly they are $10 each at the local jy)

oh, what about how they hook up electronically? I would assume they aren't quite plug and play?

$10 each is sorta steep for a 20+ year old used injector IMO.
I'd tell the guy you can get new ones for $22.50 and wont pay more than $5-6 each for them, lol.
either way, I wouldnt do it unless you can have flowed complete injectors for less than $150 or so because you can get new 42# delphi/lucas injectors for $40 each... $50 if you want a flow-matched set, so thats $200-$250.

they are a bosch injector, they use the same connector many many other injectors use (same as the mustang ones people use for everything, same as the racetronix ones I have sitting right here, same as a cold start valve, lol.

gotcha...yeah thats what i was thinking. If I could just get new ones for $200, then I might as well just use them instead if only for saving me time and effort. Ill have to see what the junkyard back home charges. They are usually cheaper there.
