The package includes some vague documentation and there are a few write-ups for other models floating around the web. So with that, I might have some figuring out to do but I don't think it should be all that difficult. It gets spliced in with the factory directional relay.

Between all of those, I should be able to get it figured out. As long as the 200 uses that same basic directional circuit as the others. If it works, I'll be sure to do a write up as it should be close to all other older Audi's.

If it doesn't work, I'll put it in the B5.

I haven't confirmed that it works just yet, but it looks promising. Definitely works on a B5 though. I'll report back when I take possession of the part and get it installed.

Also I think I missed it but what PressurePlate/Clutch are you using - It is the same that you already were running correct? Mine slipped horribly last night on a what would have been an amazing launch.

Looking forward to a ride too in the 6speed

Thank you! I'm planning to be at as many as possible. I'm hoping to have it done for dubs on defrost for next weekend (Apr 6). Also have Carlisle and H2O scheduled as well.

This is the same exact clutch setup I ran last setup except now for a 7A. ClutchNet red pressure plate and 6 puck spring disk.

I found that my clutch had started slipping at some point prior to my first track visit in the 200 however it would slip then grab after a few seconds. Turned out that my clutch master cylinder had become "lazy" and was causing a delay in full release. I replaced it late last season and never had the problem again. The car never saw the track again that year but numerous launches were made.

I recommend ClutchNet to everyone now as I have really enjoyed their clutches so far. That and the price is better than any other.

Great for quick highway lane changes where the steering wheel doesn't turn enough to reset the stalk back to the center position...

Nice, that is one beefy pressure plate. Are you using this 6 disc? Sounds like I will be bleeding my slave for sure then.

I am using the 7A version of that disk. Not using a 3B clutch anymore because of the 01E transmission. Input shaft is a different size/spline and the disks are otherwise identical.

I hope the 200 is done for DoD if not I'll probably bring the Golf.

Ran into another little issue this morning while trying to get the car buttoned up. The S6 axle I got for my passengers side needed a new CV, I figured no big deal and just use the good one from the axle the was no longer going to be used from the 200. I put it all together a few days ago and everything seemed correct. Today while tightening the 6 flange bolts the shaft spun in the CV. Turns out the 200's CV's and shafts are slightly larger than UrS4/S6 ones. I'm going to get a CV for an S6 axle from GAP today.

Good news though, the car is just about back together other than the axles!

Today I'll finally wire in the launch control to the clutch petal and start figuring out the courtesy blinker.

Let me know how you make out on the launch control. I was unable to get a clean signal from the clutch pedal using the cruise control cancel switch... I ended up using the ebrake.

I used to use the clutch for launch control and had no problem getting a clean signal. I just didn't like it. I'd always end up hitting it when I was about to shift and I felt that I needed more control over it than the clutch pedal could provide (sometimes you don't want to let off of the lc just because the clutch it all the way out (I feel like if you spin badly, you'd want to keep it activated until wheels were up to speed, but that is probably just in my head). Either way, it is nice to use the e-brake to help you ride the clutch just a tad when getting ready to launch too.

Do try it though, and maybe you'll like it! I think the best thing to do would be to link it to a wheel speed variable and deactivate it over a certain wheel speed condition if it is possible to do so after the first condition (clutch pedal in) is no longer active.
