ok so every place i have called about suspension asks if its the OE sport suspension or not...
I have never ever heard of that kind of option on a 200 20v, so I can only assume that it was an option on other 200s.
So the basic question is whether the shaft uses 12mm or 10mm thread on a 200 20v.
I'm going to guess 12mm?

I think its 12mm for the 20v... not positive though...

hmmm i have so many things coming...but I am broke as a joke as a result. Like...really screwed this week.
just thought I'd share because of how ridiculous it is
List of things coming or have acquired lately
-coilover parts from A1 (check)
-better snap rings from akron bearing (check)
-eibach springs (tuesday)
-bilstein sport struts all around (today)
-window reg (check)
-door latch and pin (check)
-reverse ring for my camera so I can do macro (from hong kong)
-usb adapter to connect snes controllers to my computer for games (from hong kong)
-something else from hong kong
-package from my moms today
-something from my sister today
-ecu coming back in the next few weeks
then I have to pay my friend tom a little for his help with the coil install (use of lift, welding, etc.)
but thankfully i should be getting a bit of money from sis and rents for my birthday which was yesterday (21!!!!!) and then I should get a paycheck soon. So hopefully the broke status will go away soon. I gotta have some money to pay Tom with! and to get there with...and to go to Fixxfest with! (the whole point of getting the coils done so soon)
oh and just as a friendly reminder...if anyone has or knows of a nice thule or yakima roof rack that I could purchase or fit to my car please let me know. I'd be very happy to make it my next purchase. Then its on to intercooler setup.
and one more thing...I bought myself 84 beers last night lol. I had to go big for my first purchase! Pics later

just wondering, what are you going to do about the rear "poke" when you go low? from what I remember, your wheels stick out alot in the rear.
Posted: Mon Nov 02, 2009 11:22 am
by loxxrider
well...I have had a bunch of crap in the car to the point where the rear tires were completely tucking. The suspension just naturally brings the wheel and tire in just enough when it goes low I guess. They stick out a good bit at the height it is now, but the way the tire is stretched it just clears the fender.
Here are some pics to try and show what I mean (although this isn't when they were tucking, but it shows how the tire can tuck up in there a bit)
this shows how much poke there is at stock height (in the rear)

these sorta show how it comes in and clears the fender the lower the car is

I went much lower while traveling once and on bumps the entire wheel would go up into the fender so I dont forsee any problems. If I do have a problem I think I will just give them a little neg camber to help out, but I dont think it will be needed.

ah alright, cool, I thought it was farther out than that.

yeah, I got so lucky with my measurements. I had never even really worked with wheel fitment issues before either. Its insane how much room I'll have to spare on the inside of the wheel when all is said and done.

I didn't feel like this was worth making a new thread for...buts its definitely worth something.
I went to the store (on my 21st) and couldn't believe my eyes!!!! I thought the commercial was a joke.

I kinda splurged
