Re: The 90Q (07k?)
How is the shift pattern with the adjusted rods? Before I went to a cable setup I had a mixture of modified b6 linkage, jhm crossrod, and 034 short b3 shifter. My pattern was slightly turned clockwise, just enough to notice it wasn't straight back and forth. I assumed it was the crossrod causing ...

Adjustable Upper Control Arms on a D2 S8
If you can't find the now NLA 034 Motorsport Adjustable UCAs or don't want to run heim joints on a street car, I've come up with a solution using some B5 parts. The forward B5 arm is too short and will need to be extended. I did this using the Moog tie rod ...

Re: The 90Q (07k?)
I've always read that the 07k was numbered 1-5 front-back, but the cams lock at TDC of #5 thus the front mark at #5 TDC. But I guess the way to verify is set to the rear most cylinder TDC then find out which cylinder is next and that'll verify the numbering whether it's standard or reversed.

Re: B2 Adjustable strut mounts
I've heard good things about them, but not personally used them.
I've got the Verkline offset ones on my B2 and they work well. We'll see how the spherical bearing does with age, but the CompBrake are the same design.

Re: URS6 + 4.2T ADDING THE BOOST!!
You need to find a euro V8 UrS4 cluster for the tach. Or I wonder if there's a jumper on the back you could swap/cut like the B4's have to switch it to V8.

Re: Brendan's 07K CQ rally car
Nice, Brandon. Taking note on that pedal setup! Want to make another one?
40v D2's have a gas pedal potentiometer that you can hook a cable up to and put the pot anywhere convenient and still use your factory gas pedal.
I believe Mk4 VW's use similar setup.

Hahahaha Kirk is both the best and worst influence at times
Guess with Pat's car he doesn't need that engine anymore, good to hear it's going to a good home!
I better not ride in either car because that's going to make me want to pull the 20vt out and start building my AAN.

11pc factory carbon fiber trim set from a Pre-Facelift (PFL) LHD automatic D2 S8

Thanks for the extra info! Yep can confirm the A8L shaft works too. My buddy Howard who also is in Seattle and performed the swap in pretty much the same time frame as me (featured in a later video) did exactly what you did and it worked great for him. He used the same clutch/flywheel as I did so no ...

Forgot about one of the oops moments. The B6 01E is a bit of a parts bin child and seemed to change quite a few times over the short lifespan. I had to drill and tap a hole that holds the C4 style shift stabilizer. Some people have reported that the center diff cover isn't even machined for a VSS ...
