Re: VEMS Bigger Map Sensor Bug?
Update
when trying to set up a config file and ECU disconnected!
First setting map range unit from normal <510 to double >510
Saving config file and closing VEMSTune
ECU still diconnected
Opening VEMSTune an loading config file

Re: VEMS Bigger Map Sensor Bug?
calibration
after setting map range unit to double, VEMStune must be restarted to set values higher then 510 in range (after restart, max is 1020)

Re: VEMS Bigger Map Sensor Bug?
VEMStune help sais: "Table kPa Unit This is usually set to '2' for standard MAP sensors."
Setting it to 4 when ECU connected is limiting the MAP Sensor Range to 510kPa (should be 1020 like it is on setting it to 2)
When VEMS is connected to VEMStune - all kPa Units are shown right up to 700kPa ...

VEMS Bigger Map Sensor Bug?
Hi,
I replaced the internal 400 kPa map sensor by a 700kPa internal.
I changed the ECU calibration like VEMS Wiki tells -->
http://vems.hu/vt/help/v3/v3_ecu_calibration.html
700 : set "MAP range unit"> 510 and MAP range=778 kPa --> done ans sensor is working fine - tested up to ...

Re: VEMS modify board from VR to Hall for primary Audi Trigg
today I opended the case... surprise in VEMStune it is shown as 3.3 but the board has 3.6 sign.
the SJ7 blob is open
there is a bridge like on the first picture (red line): http://www.vems.hu/wiki/index.php?page=GenBoard%2FManual%2FInputTriggerHardWare

Re: VEMS modify board from VR to Hall for primary Audi Trigg
From reading the schematics I can confirm your steps:
"short sj2 (left of lm1815)
unshort sj6 (below lm1815)
set r30 to 2k7 (2.7k ohm). left of the 2x3 header on top of the board."
but I can not find anything about the two following steps:
"2.7k axial resistor from jp6 (2x3 header bottom row ...

VEMS modify board from VR to Hall for primary Audi Trigger?
Hello,
I'm using my VEMS in an Audi S2 for years now. It is the 3.6 version with oem Audi trigger 135 Wheel and AAN 55 Motronic connector.
I want to use the VW 60-2 hall type trigger wheel and I know I have to solder/desolder some resistors and shortcuts on the board.
After searching hour and ...
