Re: What to Buy: 4WD, Reliable, Ground Clearance
My fiancée and I just picked up a Lincoln MKX (Ford Edge) this weekend. Comfortable, AWD and it has SYNC and a panoramic sunroof. 20mpg mixed driving. I'm tempted to buy another even.
Re: Beer
Yes, you did Nate. The worst part is that I can't find much near me. I may have to have you bring me something next time you're down my way.
Re: Beer
I got a peach sour at Carlisle one year that I just can't get over, and I can't seem to find any sours at any stores around me. :-/ Generally I just end up with Yeungling.

Re: Audi 200 20v weird issues
Nope, I need to find out what conditions set the code though. I know my throwout scattered all kinds of crap throughout the bellhousing, destroying one sensor. I'm thinking the TDC pin may have gotten hit. If the ECU sees the flywheel count for more than 1 or 2 revolutions without a tdc pin, maybe ...

Re: Audi 200 20v weird issues
It's not timing belt. It would still run as long as I had my foot on the gas, and it ran very smooth. It's like a massive vacuum leak. I just don't understand what the 2214 code is all about.

Audi 200 20v weird issues
I was taking off from a stop, making a right turn. I got through 1st and 2nd gears and then the car went very flat, 12psi boost MAX with no power. It took everything to keep it going 55 on flat. CEL was on. I get home, the car doesn't want to run, the hood is steaming (it's raining), and when I pop ...

SPEC stage 3?
My car will be needing a clutch soon, and I'm really thinking about the SPEC stage 3. Does anyone have experience with SPEC's Audi products? How are they?

C3 avant shaved roof rails?
Does anyone have experience/pictures of a 200/100/5000 avant with shaved roof rails? If I ever need a rack, I've got the right towers for it. I just want to know how it looks without rails.

Either way this is incredibly badass
Fram holds the high oil pressure better, IIRC. My boss uses Fram on his drag car.

Ok, 034 does not have what I need. The guy who emailed me didn't know what he was talking about. Instead they offered me $150 UrS4 strut housings and $300 brackets! What a deal!

Re: 993TT caliper brackets for UFO cars?
I already have the 2Bennett kit, but to avoid the cost of pads and rotors (ends up at like $550 for a brake job!), I can get brackets (just found out that 034 has a bracket kit for $92), rotors for an A8 and pads for $350.

I didn't even think to check German Ebay! Thanks! Have you used a set of these?
